Can audiology care work online?+
Most audiology care — tinnitus counselling, hearing guidance, cochlear rehab, and listening support — works very well online. Formal audiometric testing (audiograms, cochlear mapping) requires in-person attendance, but we coordinate those steps and manage everything else remotely.
I've been told there's nothing that can be done for my tinnitus. Is that true?+
No. While there's rarely a single cure, tinnitus counselling, sound therapy, and habituation approaches reduce distress significantly for most people. 'Nothing can be done' reflects outdated practice — structured audiological care is the evidence-based approach.
My child has a cochlear implant. When should rehab start?+
As soon as the device is activated. Early auditory-verbal therapy in the weeks after activation produces significantly better speech and language outcomes. Don't wait for a waitlist at a clinic — online AVT starts this week.
Do you support ADIP scheme applications for hearing aids?+
We help families understand ADIP eligibility and the disability certificate process. We don't issue certificates directly (those require a government medical board) — but we guide you to the right path and provide supporting clinical documentation.
